Baby Board Committee
Organizes a baby picture wall for all 5th graders (on display at the end of the school year)
Banner/T-shirt Committee
Creates, orders, and distributes promotion banners (lawn signs) and T-shirts to all 5th grade students.
Breakfast Committee
Coordinates a catered breakfast that parents supplement and serve food at; this special event for 5th grade students is held in the auditorium with decorations.
Class Gift Committee
Researches and purchases a gift for Willard School from the graduating 5th grade class
Class Party Committee
Plans an end-of-year party for the 5th grade class with food, entertainment, and favors
Kickball Committee
Coordinates a kickball game (with food) for the 5th grade class and their parents/guardians
Memory Book
Creates a memory book with dedicated pages for each student in the 5th grade class
Promotion Ceremony Committee
Decorates the auditorium for the promotion ceremony the day before and plans a light reception for parents/guests afterwards. Traditionally fourth grade parents are on hand to help with the ceremony and reception so fifth gradeparents are able to enjoy their day
Sixth Grade Mixer Committee
Works with parents across schools to plan a mixer (dance) at GW Middle School for incoming 6th graders from Orchard, Ridge, and Willard
Slide Show Committee
Creates a slide show shown at the 5th grade Breakfast, with pictures of every 5th grader's time at Willard
